Distribution
1. Paid Mail Subscribers: Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine has a growing and loyal paid subscriber base of active investors who have two or more residential investments and purchase goods and services related to their activities. Beyond individuals defined as real estate investors, this readership includes informed homeowners who have identified their successful ownership of real estate assets as a key component to a comfortable retirement. They are part of a growing and awakening class of unintentional investors. Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine now has the seventh best sell-through rate of all business and finance magazine titles in many bookstores and airport newsstands nationwide. Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine is only outsold by Money, Forbes, Fortune, Entrepreneur, Smart Money and Forbes Small Business Magazine. Following Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine are INC, Fast Company, Forbes Personal Business and Kiplinger's Personal Finance. Additional Distribution -The magazine is also available at:
Frequency - Six times a year. Every issue has a 60-day shelf life.
Readership - 30,000 (pass-along readership unknown) Unlike many magazines that claim to have high pass-along rates to reach a claimed higher readership, our magazine is often not shared. It is kept by the original subscriber or reader for an extended period of time. We are regularly told by our readers that they keep all the issues they have and use these as a frequent reference to processes, resources and advertisers who address a particular issue being encountered. This affirms the quality and sincerity of our readership in their pursuit of investment results. We are also told by past advertisers they still get calls and contacts from magazine ads that are over a year old! Unique - We have been unable to find any other broadly distributed popular personal real estate print magazine available on newsstands in the U.S. There are many real estate property listing magazines and a few short-run self-published newsletters or investor club publications focused at self/personal promotion. These are published irregularly or only available electronically. Making magazines work for readers and advertisers is not simple. There have been fourteen separate attempts to launch real estate investment specific magazines by real estate investors or real estate investment clubs since our launch in Q'4 2003. Each of these has apparently failed as they did not offer new or unique editorial, did not reach relevant subscription mass and failed to achieve revenue goals to maintain regular publication. There has been a new monthly investment magazine launched in 2008 that has already missed printing promised monthly issues. This hurts industry credibility. Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine offers a confidence and clarity that is available only from a staff of active, successful real estate investors who are also professional writers and publishers. Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine has been published continuously since November 2003. Competition - Since we launched Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine in late 2003, there have been no fewer than 14 attempts to launch magazines for real estate investors. All but one has failed and this remaining publication does not seem to be able to attract any volume of serious advertisers. Acquisitions: In 2008 Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine acquired the subscribers from Invest Magazine. In November of 2009 we assumed the subscriber base and website of the America's oldest real estate investment magazine title and website, Creative Real Estate Magazine and CREMag.com.
